UTC Wrestling Schedule 2011-2012

UTC Wrestling team takes All-Academic honors

The National Wrestling Coaches Association has released its annual list of Division I All-Academic Top 30 Teams and the UTC wrestling team has been honored as the #7 Division I academic wrestling program in the nation. Marable, Simpson wrestling in 2011 US Open in Cleveland, OH

Simpson had a close match in the quarters with Kyle Ruschell, losing 4-3, 0-7, 1-0.  Then lost another one to Metcalf 1-0, 2-1.  He ended the tournament 3-2 with a seventh place medal**.
